The origins of his descent to Earth are found in the Sri Venkatachala Mahatyam, a sacred scripture that narrates Vishnu’s divine journey in search of Mahalakshmi, who had incarnated as Padmavati. His earthly manifestation was destined to restore dharma, guide devotees, and bless them with material and spiritual prosperity.
This sculpture captures Venkateshwara in his iconic form: crowned with a majestic Kiritam (crown), adorned with vertical Tilaka markings, and standing with a graceful yet commanding posture that reflects both regal power and divine grace.
