🌟 About The Product👉
A divine embodiment of protection, mastery, and grace — this Panchaloha sculpture of Lord Shiva as Pashupatinatha, accompanied by Devi Parvati and the sacred bull Nandi, is steeped in the enduring elegance of Hoysala iconography. Handcrafted by South India’s finest artisans for Nikur Essence, this work draws direct inspiration from the rich sculptural traditions of Karnataka’s ancient temples.
The term Pashupatinatha translates to “Lord of all beings” or more literally “Lord of the animals”. It is one of Shiva’s most profound aspects — the compassionate yet commanding protector of all life, from the wildest beasts to the gentlest souls. In this form, Shiva is shown seated regally, his body adorned with symbolic ornaments, accompanied closely by his consort Parvati, whose gentle form embodies balance and harmony, and Nandi, ever watchful and devoted.
This sculpture echoes the stylistic elements of Hoysala temple carvings, seen in the rhythmic detailing of the attire, the ornate back-arch (prabhavali), and the deeply expressive facial features. The visual language used here — intricate, layered, and symmetrical — is a direct continuation of the 11th–14th century South Indian bronze and stone traditions.
The result is a spiritual and aesthetic centerpiece that doesn’t merely decorate but narrates — the legend, the symbolism, and the presence of Shiva in his most benevolent and supreme form.
Crafted using the traditional lost-wax casting method, and rendered in Panchaloha for its spiritual and material integrity, this sculpture belongs in sacred spaces, meditative environments, or personal collections of sacred Indian art.
