She is enshrined within a miniature temple structure, modeled after the ornate shrines seen in Hoysala architecture, a hallmark of South India's medieval grandeur.
The shrine sits atop a double-layered lotus pedestal, symbolizing purity and spiritual enlightenment. The detailing in the temple walls, miniature toranas (arches), and foliated borders reflect the craftsmanship and geometry seen in 12th-century temples like Belur and Halebidu.
Although rooted in a tradition that flourished between the 11th and 14th centuries, this sculpture is a modern revival — brought to life by Nikur Essence, curators of sacred South Indian artistry.
