🌟 About The Product👉
In the spirit of the recent celebrations around the Statue of Equality at Muchintal, Hyderabad, this finely detailed bronze sculpture of Swami Ramanuja pays tribute to one of the most profound spiritual and philosophical minds in Indian history.
Created using the time-honored Madhuchista Vidhanam (cire perdue or lost-wax technique), this 15-inch tall image is handcrafted in Swamimalai, Tamil Nadu — a region globally renowned for its living tradition of bronze casting that dates back to the Chola period. Cast in sacred Panchaloha (a five-metal alloy of spiritual significance), the sculpture stands as a refined representation of heritage, philosophy, and devotion.
Swami Ramanuja (1017–1137 CE) is revered as the architect of Sri Vaishnavism and a cornerstone of the Bhakti movement. This sculpture captures the philosopher in meditative composure, hands in anjali mudra, eyes lowered in reflective serenity — a form that invokes both humility and divine wisdom.
Ramanuja’s legacy is enshrined in his three major commentaries:
